Ballet instruction at Smyrna School of Ballet is of the highest caliber and affords serious students the opportunity to fully develop their potential, while emphasizing the joy of learning to dance as a rewarding and fulfilling experience in itself. Regardless of each dancer’s destiny to become a performer or patron, we believe each student deserves training of uncompromising quality.
The values that classical ballet instruction instill in a student are immense and last a lifetime. Training at Smyrna School of Ballet gives the student increased grace, poise, beauty of posture, sound muscular development, a sense of accomplishment, and appreciation for the fine arts. Because ballet involves training and strengthening muscles, it is recommended that students age eight (8) and older attend two classes per week to fully benefit from the training.
