2nd Vinings International Wine Crawl

The 2nd Vinings International Wine Crawl will be held on Saturday, June 20th (Tour 1PM - 7PM), with registration from 1PM - 6PM @ Social Vinings at 3621 Vinings Slope Drive, Atlanta, GA 30339.

Come walk from each participating restaurant to restaurant and sample wines from different countries and regions along with other great specials in the Vinings Village.

Cover: $5 Advance, $10 Door

Portion of proceeds benefits Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper.

Your mobile gym is starting a Charity Boot Camp in Smyrna through Boot Camps with a Purpose to raise money to help bring home a little girl with Down Syndrome from Taiwan to her new family here in Georgia.

E-Z Walkin’ Boot Camp - for all levels (it can be as easy or as hard - we’ll take care of each personal individually within the group). Great for boomers, beginners, folks trying to get motivated to exercise again, old injury friendly, on up to those who just want to add something different in their workout routine. Come and be uplifted, inspired and for a super cause!!

Hosted by Your mobile gym and sponsored by Smyrna Bicycles. They’ll  start at the bus (there will be a banner hanging on the front of the Smyrna Bicycles bus for the boot camp) on the sidewalk, next to E-W Connector on Silver Comet Trail Extension. Workout will include warm up, stretching, walking workout, and cool down.

Zucca Bar & Pizzeria in the Smyrna Market Village will be helping to support two Smyrna youth athletic programs - the Smyrna Stars Junior Basketball Club and the Georgia International Soccer Academy.

Bring the entire family for great food and fun. Stop by for lunch between 11:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. or for dinner between 4:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2009.

A portion of sales from the entire day on Tuesday will help support the Smyrna Stars and GISA.

And don’t forget about the upcoming 2nd Annual Celebrity All-Star Basketball game with the Harlem Legends on Saturday, June 13, 2009. Proceeds from this fundraiser support The Smyrna Stars Junior Division Basketball Program.

Keller Williams Realty recently celebrated Red Day. RED (Renew, Energize and Donate) Day is a new Keller Williams Realty service initiative dedicated to improving our local communities.

All around the US and Canada, Keller Williams Realty associates donated their time on May 14, 2009 to renewing and energizing aspects of their local communities.

Keller Williams Realty Cityside in Smyrna Vinings adopted Campbell Road as part of the Keep Smyrna Beautiful initiative. The Keller Williams volunteers showed up to clean up Campbell Road in Smyrna from Atlanta Road to Spring Road.

Our vision for this day is that all Keller Williams associates will actively engage in a coordinated effort to improve their local community. Activities may include rehabbing a house, cleaning up a local trail, providing food for the homeless, or any other service related activity needed in our community.

This will be one of the single biggest events ever undertaken in the real estate industry, and could possibly inspire others in the real estate industry to start their own community service project.
