Upward Girls Softball and Boys Baseball

It’s that time of year again! Spring is almost here, and we are anxious to get outdoors!

The Upward Sports Ministry of First Baptist Church Smyrna is pleased to announce their 2014 Girls Softball and Boys baseball season. They are extremely excited about another fun and exciting sports league, and they would love to have your family participate.

– Softball is offered for K4-8th grade girls.

– Tee-ball is offered for k4-1st grade boys.

– Coach Pitch baseball is offered for 1st-2nd grade boys.

In Upward Sports, Every Child Is a Winner. Their goal is to use the medium of sports to assist parents in the training and nurturing of our children. Rather than focusing on wins and losses, they focus on best effort, best sportsmanship, best skills (offense and defense) and of course, most Christ-like. By de-emphasizing winning and losing, and focusing on positive character traits and growing closer to God, they help our children grow physically, emotionally and spiritually.

This positive and purposeful approach actually improves the sports experience; enhancing the competition and generating even more excitement.
