Smyrna Library

The summer reading program has kicked off at the Smyrna Public Library. The library will be having a variety of events during the Summer to help you “Dig into Reading”.

The program will feature:

1) School Aged Reader Reading Logs – Track every 20 minutes you read. All kinds of reading counts (event cereal boxes!), and listening to audiobooks counts too. At the end of summer, if you have logged at least 8 hours of reading, you will receive a certificate, sticker, restaurant coupon, and free book.

2) Beginning Reader Logs – Complete the tasks on your log. At the end of summer, bring in your completed log and you will receive a certificate, sticker, restaurant coupon, and a free book.

3) Challenge Sheets – Complete the challenge sheet each week and return the completed sheet to the Smyrna Public Library for a prize and a chance to win a “Dig Into Reading” prize bag.

Upcoming special events as part of the summer reading program include:

In addition to these special events, there will also storytime.
