The City of Smyrna is excited about the upcoming Fall Jonquil Festival, to be held on Saturday, October 23rd and Sunday, October 24th.
The Fall Jonquil Festival is held on the beautiful Village Green in downtown Smyrna, Georgia next to the fabulous Market Village. The festival has a history of over 20 years and will feature over 150 hand-made arts & crafts collections made by artists from around the country.
The event also offers fun for the entire family to enjoy with continuous entertainment, a children’s section, and a wide selection of festival foods. They will also have local entertainment on the stage in front of the Smyrna Library.
Community Event!! Friends of the Smyrna Library will have their book sale during the Fall Jonquil festival, so plan to get some phenomenal deals on all types of books imaginable.
There will be a Featured Artists Market with upscale artist and their wares from watercolors, folk art, pottery, fine jewelry and metal sculpting. Other artisans are from all over the southeast and feature their own hand made crafts, paintings, clothing, furniture, jewelry and much more.
The festival foods include: pizza, cotton candy, candy apples, corn dogs, hand-dipped ice cream, snow cones, polish sausage, chicken sandwiches, and BBQ. The children’s activities area will have interactive inflatable activities, sand art, and more.
The festival hours of operation are 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM on Saturday, October 23rd and Noon – 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 24th. Admission is FREE. Eat delicious food, shop, play and relax. The festival is a wonderful experience for the whole family!
