Vinings-Turkey-Stolen

Actually, it’s more of a turkey sign, than an actual turkey that was stolen in Vinings, but hopefully I got your attention. Seems like everyone is picking on the birds right now, between the Atlanta Falcons falling apart and chickens and roosters getting booted out of Roswell, it’s just not a good time to be a bird.

It seems that a wooden turkey sign was recently taken from a local Vinings resident and transplanted into another Vinings homeowner’s yard along with hundreds of other signs.

Nothing more despicable than a cowardly act such as this. But…the current holder of the wooden turkey holding a Happy Turkey Day message would like to return this to it’s rightful owner.

If this is indeed your sign, please contact Gillian Greer at the Vinings Historic Preservation Society and she will put you in touch with the lady who is holding it for safe keeping!

You can contact Gillian at 770-432-3343.

And thank you Gillian for bringing this important community issue to our attention.
