The Spring Jonquil Festival will be held in Smyrna around the Village Green. The festival is on Saturday, April 25 from 10a.m.-6p.m. and on Sunday, April 26 from 12 p.m. – 5p.m.

The City of Smyrna comes alive with Jonquils in bloom on the weekend of April 25 & 26. The Spring Jonquil Festival is held on the beautiful Village Green in downtown Smyrna, Georgia next to the fabulous Market Village.

The festival has a history of over 21 years and will feature over 175 hand-made arts & crafts booths, local non-profit companies, puppet shows, live music, plenty of festival foods, and all types of children’s activities. They  will also have local entertainment on the stage in front of the library.

Peter Hart will be bringing his Atlanta Puppet Show to the Spring Jonquil Festival: Peter’s festival puppet show has appeal to everyone in a family audience with unique marionettes and puppet characters that sing, dance, juggle, play fiddle, break apart and come back together, squirt water, and are even launched by catapult across the stage!

There will be a Featured Artists Market with upscale artist and their wares from watercolors, folk art, pottery, fine jewelry and metal sculpting.

Other artisans are from all over the southeast and feature their own hand made crafts, paintings, clothing, furniture, jewelry and much more.

The festival foods include: cotton candy, candy apples, corn dogs, hand-dipped ice cream, snow cones, polish sausage, chicken sandwiches, and BBQ.

The children’s activities area will have pony rides, inflatable activities, sand art, and more.

The event also offers fun for the entire family to enjoy with continuous entertainment, a children’s section, and a wide selection of festival foods.
