Description

A great neighborhood playground……very small and sunny, but several trees around the park make for a very tranquil environment…..new play structures make it popular for kids of all ages….. well-maintained including a recent upgrade to the benches and picnic area……conveniently located to the Smyrna Market Village with plenty of kids shopping and restaurants….the park is dog-friendly…..the library and community center are in walking distance and a Publix grocery store under construction along Atlanta Road in Jonquil Village should be completed in the upcoming months……friendly atmosphere with lots of neighborhood kid regulars.

This is a great little park that I stroll my 2yr old daughter and 5mth infant boy too. The stroll through the neighborhood is quite peaceful however the neighborhood appears to still be in transition so I would not recommend getting off the beaten path at nighttime. If you compare it to the recently redone playgrounds in the Smyrna/Vinings area, it may seem a little old. Lots of green space for kids games. If, on a weekend day, you find it tough to keep an eye on the little ones in one of the bigger playgrounds in the area then this is the park to go to.
