Welcome to what could be your new home! We want to tell you what we have loved about living in this area, neighborhood, and home.

VININGS – A GREAT LOCATION

Vinings is a fantastic place to live for a multitude of reasons. The Vinings area has grown exponentially, and has recently added many new restaurants and shops. We always loved the Vinings Village with the great restaurants and shops such as SoHo, The Vinings Inn, Garrisons, La Paz and the unique stores. Recent renovations to the Cumberland Mall have brought the likes of Stoney River, The Cheesecake Factory, Maggiano’s, PF Chang’s, and Ted’s Montana Grill to the area.

There are also numerous family-owned restaurants and retail establishments throughout the Vinings area that we’ve enjoyed exploring. Finally, the Smyrna Vinings area offers a host of retail shopping with anchor chains including Costco, Home Depot, Publix, and Target all located nearby.

Another great thing about living in Vinings is its close proximity to major interstates (I-75, I-285), the airport, and Marta. In just 15 minutes we can travel to the downtown area, Atlantic Station or Buckhead. It’s also great for family or visitors traveling into or out of town. You’ll also enjoy the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area nearby and the Silver Comet Trail.

Finally, we’ve enjoyed watching the Vinings area grow. Over the past few years, Vinings has exploded, and it has been rewarding to watch the area thrive. We believe the local leaders have done a tremendous job in facilitating economic and community development. Vinings is unique in that it offers many conveniences of city living, but nonetheless offers a small-town feel.

VININGS VINEYARD – A GREAT NEIGHBORHOOD

Vinings Vineyard is a very peaceful place to live. Although it is close to major expressways and a short drive from downtown, the mood changes entirely as you enter the gated entrance and take in the New England charm. The neighborhood isn’t too small or too big, but is just the right size to make friends while also being able to relax and maintain your privacy. Because the home is located atop the hill, there is minimal traffic. The neighborhood is great for those that want to meet people at social activities, at the lavish swimming pool or while getting some exercise in the fitness center.

And we really appreciated that Paces Properties (a long time Vinings builder, who developed and built Vinings Jubilee in the heart of town) did a fine job on the construction, and came through on promises like the lush landscaping.

4100 PACES WALK #4406 – A GREAT HOME

There is only one. One corner Penthouse at Vinings Vineyard, with this view, and these upgrades. There is only one.

My wife and I bought #4406 in 2002, while our building was under construction. We put in all the upgrades available (granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, upgraded carpets, hardwood floors, etc). We are the original owners. In our first year of ownership, we hired a finish carpenter to do substantial upgrades that match NOTHING else you’ll find in Vinings Vineyard.

We replaced all the crown molding with heavier crown molding. We added the judges paneling, and the chair rail molding. We added the “frame” in the Kitchen around the breakfast bar, matching the cabinets. We added the floor to ceiling mirrors in the Dining Room and Master Bedroom. We added the fans and special lighting. We added a GE Advantium oven in the Kitchen.

We originally had a big screen TV mounted in the Master Bedroom, so you could watch, and view the skyline at night as well. In short, we did everything we could think of. We loved the location, in Vinings, and the view of the Atlanta and Buckhead skyline….. it’s simply the best there is, from right over the tree line, since our building sits on the hill.

When the sun rises in the morning, it comes up right over Stone Mountain, and Buckhead; spectacular! When it goes down in the west, the Buildings glisten pink and red! We also have the best 2 parking spots, right next to the mailboxes and elevator. And, we bought an extra storage unit, in addition to the one just outside our unit, and the one on the lanai. We used the pool and the workout facility as well.

It’s a very special place and unique location. The Nantucket Design (unique to our building); the Penthouse, with the 10 ft ceilings; 3 Br; 2 1/2 baths; and that VIEW! We loved living here. It’s with mixed feelings that we leave our home, but we’re very confident that you will love all that this great home and location have to offer!
